You all know that feeling: the ending of Spring Br You all know that feeling: the ending of Spring Break and getting back to that grind.

What is one thing you need to accomplish today?

Back to Work and School it is for us!!
Have an amazing day everyone!!
What is on your menu this week? Today, I’m sha What is on your menu this week?

Today, I’m sharing what I will be eating this week instead of the family meal plan. If you have been watching my stories this week you could see that I didn’t cook at all and my body is really feeling it now. I need to get back on track. I need to get rid of the bloat, extra few pounds and get my energy back. Turn notifications on and tune into my stories this week!!

✅ Saves you time thinking about what to cook
✅ Saves $$ at the grocery store
✅ Keeps you on track with your diet/healthy lifestyle.
✅ My breakfast & lunch plan is different than the boys since I try to follow a one starch per day meal plan. I pick & choose my starch of the day wisely.

Both boys: Jay age 12 & Shaan age 5 know that it’s mandatory to have exercise daily. Since the pandemic hit last March there were days where my kids, my hubby and I suffered from being “slugs”. I couldn’t stand it any more- I made a no slugs rule. ⁣

Looking forward to Spring sports 🙌🏼

Vaisakhi 2020- Quarantine Edition. Happy Vaisakhi! Vaisakhi 2020- Quarantine Edition. Happy Vaisakhi!!!

Vaisakhi is a Sikh Holiday, in the year 1699 Guru Gobind Singh Ji chose this day to establish the Khalsa which started the Sikh religion.

I recently found out that today is the actual birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji (speak to your Sikh historians about this one 😉)

Last year during Vaisakhi we were still in Quarantine. We made our own celebration at home. We dressed up in orange and blue, did paath while making parshaad. It was the first time the boys had made parshaad.

Of course we missed our trip to Gurdwara, the Vaisakhi mela and the Sikh Day parade in NYC but that doesn’t mean that you can’t make memories at home.

How are you celebrating Vaisakhi this year compared to last year? Are you celebrating on the 13th or 14th?
