
Melt in your mouth Mangolian beef made in the Crock Pot. A large amount of flavor for a no-fuss dish. It looks fancy enough to make while entertaining & easy enough as an everyday meal. My 3 year old doesn’t like the texture of steak but once he ate this..the words “mama its so soft” came out of his mouth. SCORE!! I just got my son to eat steak!! Serve it over rice, veggies or noodles. Shown here with Veggie Brown Fried Rice 🙂 ENJOY~
Mongolian Beef in a Crock Pot
Makes 3 cups. Serving size 1/2 cup. Nutrition: Weight Watchers Points + 5 ~ 6 Servings ~ Calories 223.1 ~ Fat 6.8 g ~ Carbs 21.8 g ~ Fiber 2.0 g ~ Protein 19.6 g
Ingredients
- 1 lb Flank Steak; cut in approximately 1"x 3" pieces
- ****Marinade****
- 1/4 cup Corn Starch
- 1/4 cup Tamari or Soy Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Black Pepper Sauce (KaMe)
- ****Sauce****
- 1 medium Onion; sliced
- 4 cloves Garlic; sliced
- 1 tsp Ginger; grated
- 1/2 cup Low Sodium Chicken Broth
- 1/4 cup Tamari or Soy Sauce
- 1/4 cup unpacked Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Toasted Sesame Oil
- 1/4 cup Cooking White Wine
- 1 Tbsp A-1 sauce
- 1 tsp Chili Garlic Sauce
- ****Veggies****
- 1 bunch of Asparagus, cut 2# diagnol strips
- 1 bunch of Scallions, cut 2# diagnal strips
- ****Garnish****(optional)
- Cilantro
- Sesame Seeds
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients of the Marinade in a large bowl; add Beef & set aside for 30 min
- Mix all the ingredients of the sauce into the Crock Pot
- Add the Beef mixture and push down into sauce mixture
- Pull any onions or garlic away from the sides of the Crock Pot
- Cook on High for 3 hours; add asparagus & scallions; cook additional 15-20 minutes.
- Garnish with Cilantro & Sesame Seeds (optional)
- Serve Steamy & Hot
